“From Above” Ben Folds Music Video

I joined this project midway through post production. Cartoonist Julius Preite & designer Justin Owens had imagined this video about soul-mates cursed never to meet to promote Ben Folds' album "Lonely Avenue". Julius drew key frames of the characters & my role was to animate these static drawings. Scenes were split between myself and Justin. The techniques used ranged from in-camera stop-motion animation, After Effects compositing & 3D Particle systems.
