I teamed up again with Designer Scott Shassberger to design the launch package for FOX's new psychological thriller 'The Following'. In the series, an FBI profiler (Kevin Bacon) is in pursuit of a convicted serial killer (James Purefoy) and his cult-like following. Edgar Allan Poe, literature and the gothic aesthetic play a large part in the mythology of the show. With that in mind, we designed a moody, atmospheric look using imagery from the show, visceral textures and photographic elements. One notable source of imagery was a taxidermy Raven that we purchased to photograph.
