Wayward Pines • Broadcast Design Packaging
'Wayward Pines' tells the story of a FBI Special Agent(Matt Dillon) trapped inside the supernatural town of Warward Pines, Idaho. I was given footage shot on location to serve as the basis for an On-Air promo package for the show.
I referenced tilt-shift photography, double exposure and the films of Stan Brakhage for inspiration for this visual 'tone poem' created to set the mood for the show's On-Air branding. My goal was to create a portrait of the town as oddly idealistic and picturesque yet not quite right.
